Purpose
The Opportunity Analysis synthesizes the key findings from the Artifact: Industry Analysis, Artifact: Competitive Analysis, and Artifact: Situational Assessment into a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. It lists the opportunities identified and describes at a high level the key elements of each opportunity including target audiences, features, and benefits provided to different groups. Selected opportunities will be further developed and refined into an Artifact: Business Concept.
Audience
The following roles use this artifact:
- The Role: Business Strategist uses it to develop the Artifact: Business Concept.
- The Role: Acquisition Marketing Strategist uses it to better understand the competitive environment and define the marketing strategy.
- The Role: Brand Strategist, Role: Requirements Analyst, Role: Business Process Analyst, and Role: Creative Concept Director use it to understand the early direction for the project and to inform their work.
