Description

The Graphic Designer applies visual design guidelines to transform the information architecture into a set of fully designed user interface pages. By applying and refining the initial design ideas, the Graphic Designer defines the user interface, including color use guidelines, typographical standards and visual hierarchies. These decisions may be formalized in the Artifact: Visual Development Guide. The Graphic Designer often creates innovative and usable images and icons to enhance the site's navigation and brand. The Graphic Designer must optimize all visual elements for the production environment to ensure fast downloads, web-safe colors, etc.
