Purpose

To develop Wireframes, the Role: Information Architect identifies the content elements and regions, decides how much space to dedicate for each element within a page template, and how to organize the elements within the page template. By combining these findings with navigation decisions and information gleaned from the Artifact: User Research Report, Artifact: Use Cases, and other sources, the Information Architect develops the Wireframes. The Wireframes are refined using input from many roles including Role: Graphic Designer, Role: User Interface Prototyper, Role: End User, and Role: Usability Evaluator.
