Purpose

To record what needs to be modified, who is responsible for doing it, a target completion date, etc. This artifact's degree of formality varies depending on the artifact's status, the project's progress, project size, nature of the team, and risks. Capturing the results makes it easier to perform quality assurance activities. The Review Record is one of the key inputs to refining artifacts and performing the next iteration of activities.

Audience

The following roles use the Review Record:

  • Each role responsible for an artifact being reviewed uses the Review Record to capture items that must be addressed.
  • Anyone performing quality assurance tasks uses the Review Record to verify that artifacts have been properly updated.
