Description
Usability evaluation may be done on existing systems and on those being developed. Usability testing is done empirically with users from the target groups. Experts perform heuristic evaluations without user input based on universal usability criteria and those defined for the project at hand. The activities involve determining the appropriate evaluation methods, designing the usability tests, recruiting participants, conducting the evaluation or test, analyzing the data, reporting summarized results, and making recommendations.
