Description
The Creative Concept Director analyzes existing business strategy, communications, user research, visual design, and branding to inform the creative development of the project's conceptual and aesthetic approach. In some cases, the approach may need to scale for multiple projects, micro-sites, and include offline aspects. A brilliant sense of design, style, and organization must permeate all of this role's work.
The Creative Concept Director must have strong storyboard development skills and be able to think in the context of different media. Knowledge of usability concerns unique to each phase of the creative process is critical.
This role provides leadership and drives other roles to develop innovative and usable solutions to business needs. This role must understand the web as a medium and its relevant technical constraints. This role must also have a keen understanding of the balance between business, marketing, and technical requirements.
