Description
Agile Project Managers are typically responsible for feature estimation, release and iteration planning, managing iterations, and tracking and reporting. Although these responsibilities may seem similar as to what is found in the average project, the focus is much different. Agile development projects revolve around fixed-length iterations, sometimes called sprints. These are usually short, generally 2 weeks to 30 days in duration, and create a flow of new running, tested features that provide the feedback to keep both the team and the project on track. Managing these iterations, and the improved communication and interaction with the business that they enable, is the real job of the Agile Project Manager, and it is no easy task.
