Description

OpenUP is an open source iterative development process built on the Eclipse Process Framework. OpenUP is taken from the Rational Unified Process. While it preserves the majority of RUP’s key concepts, it significantly reduces the activities and deliverables required. The simpler process is significantly easier to successfully adopt and rollout within an organization. As the process familiarity and maturity increase, additional elements may be added as desired.
